Loss prevention employee arrested on sexual assault charges in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS NV July 25 2019 Las Vegas police were notified on July 16 of a sexual assault that occurred on July 7 at a business located on Boulder Highway near Tropicana Avenue.
A local media outlet has identified the store involved was an Albertson’s grocery store.
Officers learned that a teenage victim was with a parent in the store and was detained by a loss prevention employee, later identified as 26-year-old Dominic Miller.
Miller accused the victim of shoplifting and said the victim needed to go to an office to fill out paperwork or the police would be called.
The victim was separated from the parent and went with Miller to a room inside of the business.
Miller indicated that if the victim did not comply with his requests, he would call the police and have the victim arrested. Miller then sexually assaulted the victim. Afterwards, he returned the teen to his or her parent and told them both to leave the store and not return.
On July 19, Miller was arrested and transported to the Clark County Detention Center where he faces two counts of sexual assault.
