Madison woman charged with threatening to shoot up school
MADISON WI May 22 2019 Madison Police arrested a woman who allegedly said she would shoot up a middle school among other threats, after being barred from entering the facility.
Adrian L. Harris, 35, of Madison was stopped from entering Jefferson Middle School by staff Monday morning, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
Police said they responded at 10:30 a.m. and were told by staff Harris “threatened to ‘shoot up the school,’ or start it on fire, or drive her car into the front doors.”
Harris, according to police, denied making the threats.
She was arrested for disorderly conduct and unlawful trespass, police said.
Harris is not allowed at Jefferson Middle School without notifying staff ahead of time. Police said her restriction from the property was based on “past disturbances.”
