Mall security, police responds to burglary of several stores
MILLBURN, NJ May 30 2020 A mall security officer spotted several people breaking into a mall and notified police.
On May 26, 2020 at 4:43 AM the Millburn Police were dispatched to the Mall at Short Hills on a report of a burglary.
Mall security reported that three unknown thin black males wearing hooded sweatshirts entered the Mall and then attempted to enter Luis Vuitton but were unable to get in.
It was further discovered that the males additionally burglarized Primo Mercato and were able to get approximately $5000.00 in cash before fleeing.
The security guard gave responding officers a description of those involved and a report was made and is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
