Queen Anne’s County MD December 7 2018
Maryland State Police say a 90-year-old man suspected of raping two teenagers at an Eastern Shore private school in the 1960s while he was principal now faces charges.
Troopers arrested Russell Isaac of Bowie, Maryland on Dec. 3, charging him with multiple counts of rape and associated sex offenses.
In May 2016, state police said the Criminal Enforcement Division for the Upper Shore Region launched an investigation after a female victim reported Isaac sexually assaulted her in the late 1960s while she was a 14-year-old student at the W.C. Moffett School where he was principal. The school was located in the town of Barclay in Queen Anne’s County.
The investigation identified a second victim who police said reported she had been sexually assaulted by Isaac at 15 years old. The victims told investigators these incidents occurred on campus between 1966 and 1968
The investigation is ongoing as police say there are believed to be additional victims. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Centreville Barrack at 410-758-1101.
