Man accidentally discharges gun in Lowe’s striking himself in groin
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. May 26 2019 Bowling Green police were called to Lowe’s at about 2 p.m. Friday after a man accidentally shot himself.
The man, who police did not identify, was carrying a gun in his waistband, Bowing Green Police Officer Ronnie Ward said.
“He was adjusting the firearm and it discharged striking him in the groin and leg,” Ward said.
He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
No one else was injured, Ward said. The man was not charged with any crime.
