Man accused of filming Virginia Beach police officer urinating in store’s bathroom
VIRGINIA BEACH Va May 26 2017 — A 37-year-old man is accused of recording a Virginia Beach police officer urinating in a gas station bathroom.
Aloysius Marcus Albritton is accused of following a police officer into a bathroom and filming him using the urinal on March 22 at Wawa, located at 5701 Northampton Blvd., according to documents filed in Virginia Beach Circuit Court.
The officer reported that he was wearing a green traffic vest with the word “police” on it when Albritton stood to his left at the urinal, took out an iPhone 6 and aimed the lens at the officer’s genitals.
The police officer tried to cover himself, but Albritton moved the phone “to maintain steady imagery” of his genitals, according to court documents.
When both men left the bathroom, the officer asked Albritton why he was filming him and if he could see the video. Albritton gave him the phone, and the police officer saw a video of himself urinating.
Albritton was arrested on May 8, and charged with illegal filming. He is scheduled to appear in Virginia Beach District Court on June 12, and is currently out of jail on bond.
