Man alleges Bottoms Up security guards injured him in unprovoked attack
BELLEVILLE IL Jan 7 2018 – An invitee to a Brooklyn strip club alleges he was injured in an unprovoked attack by security guards.
Grazino Baker filed a complaint on Dec. 21 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Bottoms Up and John Does 1 and 2 alleging negligent hiring.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 1, 2017, he was at Bottoms Up celebrating his birthday when he was repeatedly punched in the face and upper torso and was slammed to the floor by Bottoms Up security guards. He alleges he suffered a fracture to his orbital bone, bulging discs in the neck, a torn rotator cuff, torn tendons in his shoulder and bicep and lacerations to his face, head and arms.
The plaintiff holds Bottoms Up and John Does 1 and 2 responsible because defendant Bottoms Up allegedly failed to exercise proper care in hiring employees.
The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $50,000 plus costs of this action. He is represented by Drominic Kujawa in Belleville.
