Man arrested after flashing weapon in Twin River Casino according to police
LINCOLN RI December 23 2018 – State police arrested a Providence man Thursday after he displayed a handgun at the Twin River Casino Hotel, according to a press release from the state police.
Andrew Owen, 29, was captured on security cameras at the hotel showing the firearm, according to state police.
Members of the Rhode Island Police Gaming Enforcement Unit investigated with the help of Twin River Casino’s security personnel.
Owen was arraigned in District Court in Warwick on charges of disorderly conduct and license or permit required for carrying a pistol. He was released on $10,000 surety bail.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on March 18.
