Man arrested after shooting at apartment security guard

Two security officers escaped injury after being fired upon multiple times while sitting in their marked patrol vehicle.
Tulsa police arrested the man early Friday morning after they say he fired security shots at security officers at the Avery Park Apartments near 51st and Yale.
Officers say the security personnel was sitting in their vehicle at around 2 a.m. when the suspect, identified as Keciaan West, started shooting at him from another vehicle.
They notified police and followed West’s vehicle for a few miles until Tulsa police came in to assist, pulling the car over.
Officers found a handgun inside the vehicle and arrested West.
He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail and is facing charges of shooting with intent to kill, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm both in the commission of a felony and with serial number removed in the commission of a felony, and affixing improper license plate to a motor vehicle.
