Man Arrested After Shooting at Ralph’s Store Security Officer

SAN DIEGO CA.
A shooting involving a private security officer and an armed man shut down streets in downtown San Diego Friday evening.
Police said that they responded to a shooting along 1st Avenue near Horton Plaza and the Westin near a Ralph’s grocery store.
Just before 5 p.m., police got a call from a federal agent, saying a customer had an altercation with a Ralphs security guard and that there had been a shooting.
The customer pulled a gun out of their backpack and fired two shots at him.
The security guard shot back once.
The suspect was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Police said no one was injured and they did not say why the man fired his gun at the security guard.
