Man arrested after spitting on officer, threatening to kill multiple people at Baxter Health
Mountain Home AR June 7 2023 A Midway man was arrested following a disturbance at Baxter Health Saturday night.
Three felony charges have been filed against 19-year-old Christopher Richard Jorsch after he allegedly spit on a security officer and threatened to kill multiple people.
The probable cause affidavit in the case indicates Mountain Home Police were called to the hospital to assist with a man who had become combative with hospital staff and security officers. The security officers were told by the charge nurse Jorsch needed to be placed in a restraint chair after he became aggressive towards the staff and destroyed a plexiglass panel at the nurses’ station.
While attempting to get Jorsch in the chair, he spat in the face of one of the security staff and started screaming he was going to kill everyone in the hospital.
When Mountain Home officers arrived, the took Jorsch into custody and as they were approaching the nurses station, Jorsch again started screaming, saying when he got out of jail, he was going to come back and kill everyone in the hospital.
Jorsch is charged with battery in the second degree on a police officer, terroristic threatening and criminal mischief. His bond is set at $10,000.
