Man arrested at Ferguson library for trespassing after refusing security guard order to leave
STAMFORD CT December 29 2018 — A 34-year-old Norwalk man was arrested on Wednesday for refusing to comply with an order to not enter the Ferguson Library, police said.
Michael Joseph Larocco was told to stay off the premises of the Broad Street library because of a past incident in which he allegedly caused a scene in the library and refused to leave.
On Wednesday, Larocco allegedly entered the Stamford library at 10 a.m. and was told to leave. He then entered the building again 30 minutes later, according to a library security guard.
He was escorted out of the building and police were notified. A surveillance photograph of Larocco was given to all officers patrolling downtown. Eventually, an officer spotted Larocco and arrested him, around 12:30 p.m.
He was charged with first degree criminal trespassing.
