Man arrested for allegedly firing shots toward security guard outside nightclub in WV
BARBOURSVILLE, W. Va.July 31 2018 A man was arrested after allegedly firing shots outside of a nightclub.
It happened in Barboursville early Sunday morning.
James Waylon Molinaro, 42, of Huntington, is charged with wanton endangerment.
According to the criminal complaint, Molinaro was asked to leave Southern Xposure by security after they noticed he had a Smith & Wesson .38 special revolver in his pocket.
Investigators say security escorted him to the bar to pay his tab and out the door, but once he got into the parking lot, he pulled out the gun and allegedly began shooting toward the door of the club.
A security guard was near the door where the shots were fired.
Molinaro and another man got into a car and took off.
When officers arrived and asked questions, Molinaro returned and was arrested.
Investigators say they found the gun in the car he was in.
