Man arrested for assaulting a hospital security guard
Wichita Falls TX Sept 26 2021 Police arrested a hospital patient after he reportedly kicked a security guard.
According to the police report:
Wichita Falls Police were sent to the United Regional Emergency Room Wednesday night for a patient who was combative. They found a security guard holding the suspect, Steven Wilson, down on a bed.
The security officer told them Wilson was yelling at the nursing staff and poking them in the chest. He said he was trying to keep him from touching the hospital staff, but Wilson started cursing and moving around.
While holding his arms down, Wilson suddenly kicked, swung both feet up towards his head and kicked the security officer in the torso. Guards were able to hold him until police arrived.
Wilson was arrested and charged with assaulting a public servant. His bond was set at $5,000 by a judge.
