Man breaks into Nissan Stadium while 2 security guards are there, assaults police and flees
Nashville, Tennessee Sept 8 2021 A 44-year-old man was charged with breaking into Nissan Stadium and beating a metro police officer on Monday night.
According to the arrest warrant, security guards at Nissan Stadium contacted police after Paul Lamb entered the facility without permission.
When police arrived, they reportedly found guards and Lamb at the entrance to the East Club. According to the metro police, he took off and fled when the policeman began talking to him.
Police said one of the police officers had caught up with Lamb and tried to grab him. Lamb then used his right hand to hit the officer in the left ear, the warrant said.
At that time, he was immediately detained. He has been charged with assaulting police officers, burglary, and resisted arrest. He is in Metro Jail with a $ 103,000 bond.
