Man charged in attack on Double Tree hotel security

A trespassing, and intoxicated man assaulted hotel security, resisted arrest and was later taken home by officers.
Police were called to the Double Tree Hotel at 12:02 a.m. March 18 regarding a patron who was resisting arrest by a hotel security officer.
The security guard and the suspect were found inside a hotel bathroom.
The security officer said he found the man when he heard snoring coming from one of the stalls. The suspect “became combative” when he was awakened.
Police reports said the man appeared to be intoxicated and refused to go to a hospital.
He was cited for disorderly conduct and was taken home by police.
