Man charged in dispute with Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort security
LARCHWOOD IA July 22 2019—A 34-year-old Larchwood man was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort northwest of Larchwood.
The arrest of Christopher Lee Knoblock stemmed from a report by casino security personnel about an intoxicated man who was running around the gaming floor and refusing to leave after being told to, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon arrival of a deputy, security personnel pointed out Knoblock.
Knoblock showed signs of intoxication by poor balance, slurred and loud speech, bloodshot/watery eyes, and a strong aroma of an alcoholic beverage, according to court documents.
When Knoblock was placed under arrest for public intoxication, he was found to have a dugout containing marijuana inside of it.
