Man found dead on University of Maryland campus
COLLEGE PARK, Md. Dec 23 2021— Police at the University of Maryland College Park are investigating after a man was found dead on campus.
Officers were called to the area of a parking garage along Mowatt Lane for a report of a man lying in the grass on Tuesday morning, university police said in a news release.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
Detectives are investigating, but police said there is no known threat to campus.
The man’s next of kin have been notified.
An autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause of death.
