Man found guilty of killing Albuquerque church security guard

A man accused of killing a church security officer has been found guilty during a court trial.
Marc Ward, who is accused of hitting and killing the church security guard, has now been found guilty of the crime on Wednesday.
Both sides made their closing arguments on Wednesday.
Ward was accused of running over Daniel Bourne at Calvary Church on Osuna in September 2022 then trying to hide his body in a nearby arroyo.
They found the victim’s blood on Ward’s truck and clothes. That along with video evidence taken by the victim helped lead to his conviction.
Ward faces life behind bars.
