Man kicks hospital security, bites police held for psychiatric evaluation
Battle Creek MI Feb 28 2018 A 27-year-old man, who police did not identify, was taken into custody and held for a psychiatric evaluation after he bit a Battle Creek Police Officer and kicked security officers from Bronson Battle Creek.
Police said the officer and security employees were attempting to restrain the man in the emergency room of Bronson Battle Creek about 8:03 p.m. Monday when he kicked a security officer in the head and neck, injured the wrist of another and bit the police officer.
The man said he had nuclear weapons and that Adolf Hitler was attempting to get him.
Police are seeking a warrant on assault charges.
Police did not say why the man was at the hospital.
