Man on crutches flees security after trying to break into cars

A security officer spotted a man on crutches acting suspicious in an apartment complex and decided to watch him for a few minutes.
He observed the man who seemed to be attempting to break into vehicles and called police for assistance.
When the security officer approached the man, he dropped his seemingly unnecessary crutches and ran away.
The Pueblo Police Department responded to the Belmont apartment complex just after 4 a.m. Saturday to assist the security officer after the man fled the area.
A police officer later located the suspect when he returned to the scene to collect his crutches.
The man had an active arrest warrant and was booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center.
