Man shot by security guard at Massy Stores Waterfront

An armed security guard shot a male individual at the Massy Stores Supermarket, Waterfront outlet this evening, police sources confirmed to Loop News.
Details surrounding the incident are still coming in, however, the incident occurred around 6:45 pm.
“We were in the shop attending to customers when we heard two gunshots,” one business owner recalled in the wake of the incident.
Reports are that the suspect attempted to steal a mobile phone and disarm the security guard when he was shot.
The shooting victim was transported to the Owen King EU Hospital, his condition remains unknown.
Attempts to reach Massy Stores Supermarket for a comment on the incident proved unsuccessful.
