Man shot by security officer at Cabaret East drives himself to hospital

A man shot in a confrontation with a security guard fled the scene and then drove himself to a hospital according to police.
The man drove himself to an Arlington hospital with at least one gunshot wound after he got into a confrontation with a security officer at a bar in Fort Worth, according to police.
The man told investigators that he was at Cabaret East, at 12325 Calloway Cemetery Road, when he got into a fight with security, Fort Worth Police Officer Tracy Carter said.
Fort Worth police sent four officers to the shooting scene, according to records.
As the man drove off, the security guard fired a shot at the car and hit the driver in his shoulder, Carter said.
Police have questioned the security guard and the incident is under investigation.
