Man slashes bouncer outside NYC’s historic Stonewall Inn
Greenwich Village NY June 27 2023 A man slashed a bouncer in the face outside the famous Stonewall Inn when he was kicked out early Monday, cops said.
Christopher Lawrence, 30, was booted from the Greenwich Village LGBTQ+ bar on Christopher Street near Seventh Avenue South after he got into an argument with a DJ around 3:45 a.m., police said.
The bouncers at the historic venue removed him and tried to close the door, cops said.

Lawrence then whipped out a knife and slashed one of them on the mouth and right cheek, authorities said.
He fled but was busted by responding cops about a block away, police said.
The Brooklyn man was charged with felony assault, cops said.
It’s unclear whether the bouncer was hospitalized, but his injuries were non-life-threatening, police said.
