Man threatens Shorewood store security officer with gun
SHOREWOOD WI July 3 2018Â – A 29-year-old man was arrested Sunday, July 1, after he allegedly threatened a grocery store security guard with a gun.
Shorewood police were dispatched at about 9:46 p.m. to the Metro Market grocery store, 4075 N. Oakland Ave., on a report of a retail theft.
Shorewood police were told that the 29-year-old man was in a physical fight with the loss prevention officer. The man told the loss prevention officer that he had a gun, and then he pulled the gun out of his waistband and pointed it at the loss prevention officer, according to police.
The man was arrested, and the gun was recovered by Shorewood police. The man is in custody at the Milwaukee County Jail. No one was injured during the incident.
