Man tried running over Virginia security officer
ASHBURN, VA July 11 2017— A man who nearly mowed down a security guard with his vehicle early Sunday morning in the 44600 block of Provincetown Drive has been arrested.
Alan M. Miller, 27, of Ashburn, was charged with DWI, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Shortly after 2 a.m., police responded to the scene for a report of a security guard in need of assistance.
That’s when they saw the security guard have to jump out of the path of the vehicle to avoid being hit.
Police immediately stopped the vehicle and arrested Miller.
No injuries were reported.
