Milford Schools employee charged with making bomb threats

Police said an arrest has been made in connection to bomb threats against Milford Schools and the police department.
Miami Township police arrested Katherine Deel, 24, for allegedly sending the threats via letters sent out on Friday.
Superintendent Nancy House sent a letter to parents saying Deel is an employee within the school district as an extended day caregiver at Charles L. Seipelt Elementary, but is no longer permitted on school property.
She has been recommended for termination and a decision will be made by the Board of Education in September, House said.
Extra police were on site at the schools Friday after the threat was made, but nothing was found.
