MO. Six Flags security officer assaulted-1 arrested
Eureka MO July 2 2017 Police have arrested a 31-year-old St. Louis man after he assaulted a Six Flags security officer.
Police said that he tried to flee but didn’t get far after the assault.
At about 9:43 p.m. June 18, Eureka Police apprehended the man near the amusement park’s entrance gate after he tried to flee the grounds, a police report said.
The man tried to interfere when a person he was with was stopped for allegedly stealing from one of the Six Flags shops.
The St. Louis man punched the security guard and then tried to flee from the amusement park, the report said.
Eureka Police Lt. David Wilson said the department is seeking a misdemeanor assault charge against the man through the Eureka Municipal Prosecutor’s Office.
