Mobile teacher allegedly had sexual contact with a student
Mobile AL May 3 2017 A 40-year-old Mobile County Public School System teacher has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with a student, according to Mobile police.
The Mobile Police Department reported that on Friday (April 28) evening at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers executed a warrant for the arrest of 40-year-old Robert Brazile III of Mobile at his home in the 1700 block of Winston Avenue.
Police said that a complaint was filed with their office on April 27 in reference to Brazile having sexual contact with a student.
Brazile was taken into custody transported to Mobile County Metro Jail.
Police charged him with a school employee having sexual contact with a student under the age of 19. He was released from custody about 30 minutes after being booked.
He has a court hearing set for May 15 at 8:30 a.m. in Mobile District Court. At this time the police have not stated the age of the victim or what MCPSS school Brazile works for.
The Mobile County Public School System has not commented on the incident.
