Mohegan Sun Pocono casino security nab man with meth and LSD
PLAINS TWP. PA Jan 24 2019 A man from New York was arrested on charges he possessed methamphetamine and LSD at the Mohegan Sun Pocono casino Wednesday.
The State Police Bureau of Gaming Enforcement says Thomas Andrew Glovich, 33, of Windsor, had a bag containing a white substance and two pills in his pocket when he was stopped by casino security from entering the gaming floor at about 2 p.m.
.Glovich produced an identification card that belonged to a friend, according to court records.
Police allege the white substance tested positive for meth and the two pills were positive for LSD.
Glovich was arraigned Thursday by District Judge Richard Cronauer in Luzerne County Central Court on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.
