Mt. Morris High School security guards fired after allegedly assaulting high school boy
MOUNT MORRIS, Mich. May 11 2019 — Mount Morris City Police are investigating after they believe two security guards assaulted a high school boy.
The police chief says it happened last Thursday at Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School.
Chief Keith Becker says a boy had the hood of a sweatshirt up which is against school policy.
Becker believes the boy was listening to music and couldn’t hear the security guards telling him to take it off.
He says the guards grabbed the boy put him in a choke hold and pulled him down a hallway.
Becker says the guards work for Genesee Education Consultant Services and have been fired.
He’s submitting a report to the Prosecutor’s Office next week for possible assault charges.
