Newport Blues Cafe Patron Threatens To Shoot Bouncer
NEWPORT, RI Aug 5 2018—Vladislav Verloka, 26, of Westfield, Mass., was arrested Friday at 12:57 a.m., police said.
He was charged with Disorderly Conduct (making threats) and Resisting Arrest.
The bar called police after a squabble with the doorman. According to the staff, Verloka was intoxicated, and the bartender refused to serve him.
He left but slammed the door and allegedly threatened to shoot the doorman.
The Bay State man went for his waistband and claimed he had a gun, police allege.
Police found him on Green Street and ultimately took him into custody.
He was searched and did not have a gun.
