Nine Security Officers Killed in Twelve Days-Six Others Shot

Nine private security officers have been killed in just twelve days.
All but two were unarmed.
On-duty security officers in Michigan, California, Florida, Utah, Illinois and Arizona were shot to death while protecting lives and property.
Of the none officers killed, five were on duty unarmed at bars or nightclubs, one was armed and accidentally killed by police responding to an active shooter call where multiple people had been shot, another officer was killed during a robbery. A security officer working his first shift at a Detroit housing complex was also gunned down and killed by a man who had a dispute with a tenant on the property.
Additionally, an off-duty church security guard was shot to death while sitting in his car in Illinois.
Three unarmed nightclub security officers were shot and wounded in Oakland California during a disturbance and an unarmed security officer was shot at the Borderline bar and grill this week.
Two other security officers were shot and injured in Texas and Alabama during the past seventy-two hours.
