NY security officer injured in school fight
Chili, N.Y. April 28 2019 A security guard was taken to the hospital Friday morning after a fight broke out at Churchville-Chili High School.
Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the high school around 7:25 a.m. for the report of a fight involving multiple students.
Deputies said they arrived and found the fight was broken up by school staff before deputies arrived.
A security guard was taken to the hospital as a precaution when the fight was over.
Monroe County Sheriff’s investigators are working with the Churchville-Chili School district collaboratively to determine what, if any, next steps need to be taken.
No charges have been filed by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office as of Friday afternoon.
Deputies said the investigation remains ongoing.
