NYPD charge teen who pulled knife on security officer

NYPD officers assigned to the 78th precinct responded to an assault against a security guard and involving a 16-year-old boy.
The teen fled after allegedly pulling a knife on a security officer at a Flatbush Avenue retailer.
While police didn’t name the retailer, they did say that the armed teen threatened and brandished the weapon at the security officer who was inside the store near Atlantic Avenue at 4 pm when the teen attempted to assault him.
Police caught up with the suspect after more than two weeks, and cuffed him on a menacing charge, cops said.
