NYPD searching for trio who violently attacked and injured mall security officer
NEW YORK NY October 22 2018 Police are looking for three suspects who attacked a female security officer as they were being escorted out of a Bronx shopping mall earlier this month.
The incident happened on Saturday, Oct. 6 at around 3:45 p.m.
Police said four individuals were being escorted out of the Bay Plaza Shopping Center in Baychester by a 29-year-old security guard.
Suddenly, three of the suspects began attacking the woman, punching her in the face numerous times before fleeing the scene on foot.
EMS responded and took the victim to Jacobi Hospital where she was treated for a contusion and a fractured eye.
Investigators released photographs of three of the individuals, who were captured on video after the attack.
