Oasis Christian Church handyman, guard arrested for molesting 4 year old
SANTA ANA, CA June 23 2018– An Orange County church security guard and handyman was arrested for allegedly molesting a 4-year-old girl.
The small child was attending a church service at Oasis Christian Church in Santa Ana on Sunday, June 17, 2018 (Father’s Day).
Jose Trinidad Tavarez, 51, of Santa Ana, according to authorities has been employed by the church for around a year and was living inside his van on the church property.
Officers with the Santa Ana Police Department arrested Tavarez, who has a prior arrest for soliciting an undercover for sex and for contempt to court for child molestation.
