Off-duty cop found shot in Queens, investigators eye suicide

NYPD uniform officers and detective were on scene of a police officer death in Queens Wednesday afternoon and into the evening.
While police are not identifying the officer, they said that an off-duty police officer was found shot in a car in Queens Wednesday and they are looking into whether the wound was self-inflicted.
Police found the officer on Burns St. at 69th Ave. in Forest Hills at about 6:45 p.m.
He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital,
No other information is known yet, an NYPD spokesman said.
