Oklahoma City security officer shot during confrontation at event center
OKLAHOMA CITY Oklahoma November 4 2018- A confrontation and a shooting has left a private security officer injured.
Police said that one security officer was shot during an incident at the Oklahoma City events center.
This happened around 3 a.m. at the Ice Event Center near North Kelley Avenue and Northeast 36th Street.
Police say an altercation led to the shooting. Police do not know what started the confrontation.
The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
The security officer was rushed to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
