Patchogue bars raided, unlicensed security guards arrested

Authorities conducted State Liquor Authority inspections at two Patchogue bars on Saturday morning at approximately 1 a.m., arresting seven people.
Police say the bars were targeted because of the MS-13 street gang and other illegal activities.
The bars targeted were:
Cuscatlon Lounge, located at 290 East Main St.
El Capitan Sports Bar, located at 125A Medford Ave.
Seven people were arrested on multiple charges and two others were taken into custody by Homeland Security Investigations Special Agents.
At Cuscatlon Lounge, Garcia Blanco, 18, of Brentwood, was arrested for a warrant and transported to the Fifth Precinct to be held for arraignment. He was also issued nine summonses by Brookhaven Fire Marshall for code violations, six summonses by Brookhaven Town Building Department for code violations, eight summonses by New York State Liquor Authority inspectors for violations and 12 summonses by Suffolk County Police.
Konrad Franco, 22, of Bay Shore, was also arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.
Cuscatlon Lounge was shut down by Brookhaven Building Department for structural issues, police say.
At El Capitan Sports Bar, five people were arrested and the owner Alcides Blanco, 53, of Brentwood, was issued 15 summonses by New York State Liquor Authority Inspectors, nine summonses by Patchogue Village Fire Marshall and eight summonses by Suffolk County Police.
The following people were arrested at El Capitan Sports Bar:
Kessada Jacques, 38, of Wyandanch, was charged with a security guard violation, 89-N of the general business law.
James Sykes, 30, of Patchogue, was charged with a security guard violation, 89-N of the general business law.
Ivis Turcios, 29, of East Patchogue, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Wendy Mondragon, 29, of Central Islip, was arrested for a bench warrant.
Jorge Valdez, 33, of East Patchogue, was arrested for a bench warrant.
Turcios, Mondragon, and Valdez were taken to the Fifth Precinct to be arraigned.
Jose Sebastian Fuentes-Orellana, 30, of Patchogue, and Abraham Francisco Joya Santos, 20, of Patchogue, arrested in connection to an investigation into immigration violations by the Homeland Security Investigations Special Agents, police said.
The investigation is continuing.
