Patron Punches Millburn Standard Restaurant Security Guard in the Face Multiple Times
MILLBURN, NJ July 19, 2023— Millburn Police Officers Recinos and Kostovski responded to the Millburn Standard Restaurant July 15 on a report of an assault.
They spoke with the Millburn Standard security guard, who told them that he was punched in the face multiple times by a man who then left and walked toward Essex St.
The officers located the suspect, Thomas Levecchia, age 47, of Scotch Plains, in Millburn Municipal Parking Lot 5 and arrested him. According to the officers, “He was charged with simple assault and was released on his own recognizance.”
A representative of Millburn Standard said they are unable to comment on the situation because it’s under litigation.
In September 2022, a police officer was punched in the face by a patron who was involved in a dispute and made terrorist threats at the Millburn Standard.
