Phoenix security officer finds possible homicide victim
Phoenix AZ April 24 2022 Phoenix police are investigating the death of a man found near a business in the area of Seventh Avenue and Camelback Road on Friday.
Around 7:30 a.m., a security guard was checking on a man believed to be sleeping near the business when they discovered the victim with significant trauma to his head and face. The security guard then proceeded to call police, Phoenix police said.
The victim, identified only as a 62-year-old man, died from his injuries on the scene.
An investigation is active and ongoing, according to Phoenix police.
