PISCATAWAY, NJ June 24 2019- The Piscataway Police Department shared in a Facebook post on Saturday the passing of fellow officer Julia Jeanette Caseres.

“It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our sister in blue, Julia Caseres,” said police.

“Julia Jeanette Caseres, 28 of Clinton, formerly of Union passed away peacefully on June 21, 2019.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Wednesday June 26, 2019 at 8:30 AM.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church, 971 Suburban Rd. Union at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at The New Cemetery in Somerville.
