Pittsburgh PA Jan 7 2021
A Pittsburgh man wanted for a killing a woman at a McKees Rocks nightclub in December, was arrested by police in West Mifflin Wednesday morning.
Jerrel Marquis Ingram, 32, was wanted on homicide and related charges for his involvement in a shooting at the True Diamonds Night Club that occurred on Dec. 5. Police responded to the first block of Tunnel Way around 4:30 a.m., and found Madison Gilroy, 22, shot in the back.
Gilroy was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Two security guards were also hit by gunfire, police said.
Allegheny County Police said that Gilroy was killed during a shootout between Ingram and a security officer employed by the club. Police said Ingram was recently banned from the club, after he had been shot at the location a week prior.
Police said that night, Ingram drove up to the front door in his SUV and started arguing with security. As he drove way, he reportedly fired his gun multiple times, hitting one security officer in the leg, police said. Another security officer shot back in the direction of Ingram.
After a warrant was issued on Dec. 17, sheriff’s deputies tracked Ingram to an apartment in West Mifflin, where he was arrested Wednesday morning.
He is currently awaiting arraignment on homicide, attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and a weapons charge.
