Police find 300 people partying in Clovis CA. school gym after hours
CLOVIS, Calif. March 10 2020 Clovis police were called around 1:30 Sunday morning to Alta Sierra Middle School for a report of a large party.
When police got to the school they found about 300 people were partying inside the school gym.
Police say there was a DJ with lights and lots of alcohol and marijuana.
When police entered, they say the guests scattered but they were able to detain 5, including the DJ.
Police arrested 20-year-old Davon Martin, 21-year-old Saul Jandres, and 20-year-old Matthew Duran, for trespassing.
21-year-old Alexis Caar, and 20-year-old Sarina Garcia were also arrested for trespassing, and charged with public intoxication.
All 5 are from Fresno.
Police have not determined how the people got into the gym.
There was a great deal of litter left behind and there was some damage to storage doors somebody tried to kick in.
Police believe Snapchat was how so many people knew about the party.
