Police looking for 2 men armed with rifles after armored truck robbed at Laurel MD. bank
LAUREL, Md. May 26 2017
Two masked men armed with rifles confronted armored car personnel Thursday afternoon and police are searching for them.
Police said that the men ambushed and robbed an armored truck outside of a bank in Laurel Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the two men were dressed in black and robbed a Brink’s Truck outside of the BB&T in the 300 block of Main Street at around 12:30 p.m.
After robbing the truck, police say the men drove away in a black Ford Avenger with paper tags and tinted windows.
The empty money bag was discovered by police at 7th and Main St. Police say the bag was filled with other empty bags and the suspects did not get away with any money.

There was no reports of injuries or gunshots during the robbery.
