The teens, ages 14, 15 and 17, were taken into custody after deputies responded to a shooting call shortly after 6 p.m. Monday near the Applebee’s restaurant at the southwest corner of Okeechobee Boulevard and Military Trail.
They face charges of attempted murder and armed robbery. Prosecutors have 21 days to decide whether any of the teens will be tried as an adult. The oldest of the suspects will turn 18 on Friday.
