Private Security Officers Find Body Of Man Who Had Been Bound and Cuffed
WOODLAND HILLS, CA March 14, 2022— The body of a 42-year-old man who had been bound and handcuffed was found at a home in Woodland Hills, and police were looking for his killer Friday.
The body bore signs of strangulation, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The man’s feet had been tied together, and his hands were handcuffed behind his back.
The body was found Thursday at about 5:30 p.m. near Taft High School at a residence in the 20200 block of Ventura Boulevard, police said.
The location’s security guard and manager found the man lying on the floor in one of the rooms, according to police.
The man, who was from La Quinta, had been living at the location since July, according to the LAPD. Police withheld the man’s identity pending notification of his next of kin.
Police sought the public’s help to identify the killer. Detectives will continue to canvass the area for witnesses, surveillance cameras and further evidence, according to the LAPD.
