Publix Grocery Store Security Pepper Sprayed During Disturbance
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. February 5 2019 – A disturbance at an area grocery store led police to arrest one person for spraying pepper spray in the store.
The unnamed individual was arrested Sunday after spraying mace during an altercation at the Publix on East Sunrise Boulevard, according to the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.
Police said three people were sprayed with mace, including a security guard in the parking lot after the person was removed from the Publix.
The disturbance continued in the parking lot until police arrived and took the person into custody.
