Groups of protestors upset over the police shooting of a black man at the Riverchase Galleria mall on Black Friday continued their violent protests across the area damaging property and assaulting citizens.
Part of that protest spilled over to the Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa where two security officers were injured.
Hoover City Administrator Allan Rice says one security officer was holding doors closed when protesters forced their way in, hurting his arm.
The other security officer was monitoring a stairwell when he was knocked over and injured his knee.
Police were already on the property at the time of the disturbance but did not report if any arrests were made in the assaults of the security officers.
